Thank you Lyrica Stelle, Chronic Disease Program Specialist, with Vermont Department of Health – WRJ for hosting CSHIP Intern, Zoe Barton this summer. Zoe worked with project with the Public Health Council of the Upper Valley which is affiliated with VDH-WRJ. Our CSHIP interns do special projects tied with public and community health for local organizations and non-profits.

Lyrica had this to say about Southern Vermont Ahec CSHIP Program, “Through Zoe’s internship with the Public Health Council of the Upper Valley, the White River Junction District Office of the Vermont Department of Health, has increased our capacity to understand barriers to providing oral health care in our region. The internship bridged the gap between our district office and some providers in the area which will hopefully lay a foundation for future collaboration. We plan to drive our future oral health work around the solutions identified in this project and use tools created to continue collecting information.”
