Roberta (Berta) Enright is our Community Health Worker (CHW) Coordinator for southern Vermont.

Our Southern Vermont AHEC team continues to expand. We want to extend a hearty welcome to our newest member, Roberta (Berta) Enright, BA, MA, MS, as our Community Health Worker (CHW) Coordinator for southern Vermont. Berta will be working directly with SVTAHEC CHW Project Director Katina Cummings in supporting the building of a community health worker workforce to improve people’s health and provide equitable care across Vermont.

Berta has experience in the fields of healthcare, human resources, public service and education, and is passionate about collaborating with community partners and connecting people with resources. She is a trainer, well-versed in Facilitation, Motivational Interviewing and Trauma-Informed Care.

Berta also works as a Certified Recovery Coach in Addison County, providing outreach and helping individuals and families living with substance use disorders or addictive behavioral disorders.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communication and Business Management from Indiana University, a Master of Science degree in Industrial Relations from Loyola University Chicago and a Master of Arts degree in Teaching from Upper Valley Educators Institute.

Outside the office, Berta enjoys spending time with friends and family and working on creative home projects. She enjoys getting her hands dirty in the garden and walking her dogs.
